American Museum of Natural History:
On the Trail of Incredible Dinosaurs
by William Lindsay (Dorling Kindersley)

This terrific book explores the science of paleontology (from how dinosaur bones are found to what secrets they reveal), focusing on four distinctive dinosaur favorites-Tyrannosaurus, Barosaurus, Corythosaurus and Triceratops-and the career of famed Kansas born fossil hunter Barnum Brown. Brown led many of American Museum of Natural History paleo-teams into the U.S. and Canada, from the mid-1890's to the late-1930's in the search for dinosaur bones.
Dozens of historic photos, color illustrations, 3-D model photos show how much fun the science of paleontology can be.--Kelly Milner Halls
