How big was the eye of the T-Rex?
Dr. dig responds:
The largest T. Rex skeleton that has ever been discovered is the specimen affectionately named "Sue," after Sue Hendrickson, who discovered the fossil remains in the badlands of South Dakota.
The skull of Sue measures more than 5 feet in length and weighs in at a whopping 2,000 pounds.
The eyesocket of Sue measures about 4 inches in diameter. The eyeball, which naturally would have been smaller, most likely would have been approximately 3 inches in diameter.
