Is the Giza pyramid and the 'great pyramid' (made by Khufu) the same pyramid?

Dr. dig responds:
Yes, the Great Pyramid is the pyramid built by King Khufu at Giza. There are in fact three pyramids at Giza. The other two were built by Khufu’s son Khaefre (occasionally called the "Second Giza Pyramid", and his son Menkaure (the "Third Giza Pyramid"). Khufu's is the largest of the three, but because Khaefre cleverly built his pyramid on higher ground, it looks as if his is the largest!
