The September/October 1999 issue of Archaeology Magazine includes full coverage of the discoveries of Roman mummies in Egypt, which you should find in your local public library. You can look them up on the web at www.archaeology.org.

The October 1999 issue of National Geographic Magazine also has a feature article on the Valley of the Mummies with wonderful photographs of course.
