I have the name of A. Skias as the main or most famous of the archaeologists involved with ancient Corinth? Is this correct?

Dr. dig responds:
A Skias was certainly a well-known archaeologist. He excavated at Corinth, in Greece, in 1892 and in 1906, working with the Archaeological Society of Athens. The American School of Classical Studies started to excavate at Corinth in 1896, and their work continues today.
