Has any real evidence or proof been found about Atlantis?

Legend tells us that Atlantis was a powerful kingdom based on a long-lost island in the Atlantic Ocean. It is mentioned by the ancient Greek writer Plato. But it has never been found, and there is no real evidence or proof that it ever existed. That hasn’t stopped people looking, however. In fact, there are many people who are firmly convinced that the evidence for Atlantis is out there somewhere.
