What did the Aztecs do for entertainment?

Dr. dig responds:
The Aztecs enjoyed a vigorous ball game called tlachtli, which was played on a large court with a hard rubber ball. The aim was to hit the ball through a stone hoop using only the hips and the knees. Goals were unusual, and the game stopped when someone scored. Many Aztecs gambled on the results of the game, and some lost all their possessions because of it. In quieter moments, the Aztecs appreciated story telling and poetry.
