Questions about Native Americans

Do some people use bears' teeth so they can live longer?

Dr. dig responds:
In Native American folklore, bears' teeth are used in remedies for illness, or worn as charms for protection against danger, as we might carry a four leaf clover in our pocket for good luck. I do not know of the use of bear's teeth precisely to help people live longer, although its use as a charm and remedy may have that effect in the long run.
