Archaeology Month

Hands on Heritage Summer Camp is for kids ages 11-13. Each summer, campers have five days to visit several historical sites and museums across the state and take part in hands-on activities at each stop. For more information on this and other summer camps, visit: www.state.de.us/heritage/camp.shtml

The Delaware State Museums

The Time Travelers Program
The Time Travelers Program, run by the Division of Park and Recreation, provides archaeological training and excavation experience for amateur archaeologists at its sites. The Iron Hill Museum
Iron Hill Museum, run by the Delaware Academy of Sciences, organizes exhibits on archaeology and tours of Iron Hill's prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. The Delaware Museum of Natural History
